Pizza Kit Instructions
Your pizza kit includes the following:
2 organic sourdough pizza dough balls
organic tomato sauce
mozzarella cheese
fresh basil
parmesan cheese
Italian sausage or salami
You will need:
Flour for rolling out dough
Flat surface like a countertop
Pizza stone/cast iron skillet/baking pan
Pizza peel or another flat pan or surface without sides (can use the back of a baking pan)

Pizza Kit Instructions
Your pizza kit includes the following:
2 organic sourdough pizza dough balls

You will need:
Flour for rolling out dough
Flat surface like a countertop
Pizza stone/cast iron skillet/baking pan
Pizza peel or another flat pan or surface without sides (can use the back of a baking pan)
- Pre-heat oven to 500 degrees WITH pizza stone, if you are using one. You will drop the temperature once you put pizza in.
- Allow your dough to warm to room temperate for at least 30-45 minutes. You can leave it in the bag so it does not develop a dry skin on it. If the doughs fuse together, don’t worry. You can simple cut them apart again. You know your dough is ready to use when it is relaxed and does not spring back when you try to shape it. If it doesn’t allow you to stretch it, let it rest another 15 minutes.
- Using a floured surface, shape your dough as you please. Do not use a rolling pin as it will push out all the air bubbles. Best to use your fingertips and press outward from the middle.
- After you have shaped your dough in whatever form you choose (you can also stretch it out into the bottom of a large cast iron skillet if you want a thick Chicago-style crust, or a cake pan if you want something more closely resembling focaccia), place it on your peel/flat surface and top it with your preferred amount of sauce.
- Add cheese, again to your preference.
- Add your meat choice as well as any other topping(s) of your choice.
- Here, you can either add the basil BEFORE baking or after baking. Good either way.
- Carefully place your dough onto the pizza stone or place the pan with the topped pizza in the oven
- Drop the temperature to 400 degrees.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes (maybe more). Keep an eye on it! And bake to your “golden-browned” desire!
